Welcome!
Welcome to our assembly! We thank you for taking some time out of your day to come and visit us. We hope that you feel comfortable while you are with us today, and feel free to participate however much as you desire. This guide has been prepared for you to help you understand what we are doing in our assemblies. If you have any questions, please let us know!
Bible Study
And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and the prayers (Acts 2:42).
We meet on Sunday morning and Wednesday night and spend some time studying the Bible or a Biblical topic. We have classes for different age groups so that all may learn more of Jesus.
Prayer
Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
Twice during each assembly we seek to communicate with our Heavenly Father in prayer. Our prayers are designed to build one another up and to lay our requests at the throne of God. We all follow with the prayer and show our approval by saying "Amen".
Singing
Speaking one to another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord (Ephesians 5:19).
We enjoy singing songs praising God and exhorting one another in our assemblies. We use no instruments because we see no authority for them in the Bible. Feel free to sing along with us!
The Lord's Supper
For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink the cup, ye proclaim the Lord's death till he come (1 Corinthians 11:26).
Every first day of the week we come together and partake of the Lord's Supper to remember the body and blood of our Lord sacrificed for us (Acts 20:7, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
Preaching
Preach the word; be urgent in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching (2 Timothy 4:2).
A lesson is also presented during the assembly, normally from the evangelist, designed to encourage the brethren and to help keep them going spiritually into the upcoming week.
Contribution
Upon the first day of the week let each one of you lay by him in store, as he may prosper, that no collections be made when I come (1 Corinthians 16:2).
We also provide the opportunity for the members of the congregation to give to the church to keep its work going. Visitors are not expected to give in the contribution.
Thanks Again!
We would like to thank you again for visiting with us today. We hope that you have found our assembly to be an enjoyable experience, and we hope to see you again soon. If you have any questions about our assemblies, what we believe, or how you can become a part of us, please let us know.
